Policies & FAQs - not necessarily in order of importance (except the 1st one).
Satisfaction is Guaranteed - your complete satisfaction with the portrait session and
final print quality are guaranteed.
Reservation Fee
Photographer's Appreciation Discount
You can earn a 15% discount on any of the Prairie Creek or Holiday Portrait Collections by
arriving on time AND wearing color/clothing coordinated outfits - that' we'll discuss at the
time you make your reservation. See the 'Getting Ready' page for information about
color/clothing coordination.
Preview CD
Black & White/Sepia Prints
All color images can be converted to black & white at no extra charge. However, if you
choose an image to be printed as black & white, I strongly recommend the lab's 'Real Black &
White' print option which is superior, but costs a little more.
Credit Card Payments - I can now accept credit cards, in addition to cash or checks for
both the Reservation Fee and Collection or portrait purchases. For credit cards, I use PayPal's
e-mail system.
This is how it works:
Sales Taxes, Postage/Handling - all prices shown on the Collections page do not
include sales tax or postage/handling, if applicable.

Image Purchases
Full resolution image files (.jpeg)(up to 24), along with rights for printing only are available
on a CD for $100 - but only AFTER you have purchased a Collection.

- The Reservation Fee is for the photographer's time and talent and won't apply to ala
carte portrait or Printroom purchases. - The Reservation Fee is due at the time we book your session.
- The Reservation Fee is non-refundable if you must cancel your booked session, but can
be applied to another session if it's scheduled at the time of the cancellation.

Preview CD
- A Preview CD, which will work on computers, but not necessarily on DVD players, will
be mailed or delivered to you up to 2 weeks after your portrait session. The Preview CD
will work for 2 weeks before expiring. The images on the Preview CD have only been
roughly photoedited and not retouched. This will be done after you have decided which
ones you'd like. - You'll use the Preview CD to decide which images you want me to print. After you have
some idea, we'll get back together to review your choices and make the order. - There will be a $50 charge to recreate the Preview CD.

- If you want to pay by credit card, after you have decided to book your portrait session,
I'll e-mail you an Invoice for the Reservation Fee which will be either $100 or $150
depending on whether we're scheduling a Collection or ala carte session. The Invoice
will contain a button linking you to PayPal where you can pay with a major credit card
or your 'PayPal account'. I must receive the non-refundable fee from PayPal before the
booking time can be confirmed. - After you have reviewed the Preview CD and decided which Collection or ala carte
products you'd like, I'll e-mail you another Invoice for the new balance. I must receive
this additional payment from PayPal before I will order the prints. - The advantage to you and me of using of using the PayPal system is that I never have to
take, see, or safeguard your credit card number. Unfortunately, the disadvantage, at this
time, is that if you do not have internet access or an e-mail address, I will not be able to
accept a credit card for payment.

Some More Stuff
- All images remain the property of Kevin Wehrmeister and Prairie Creek Portraits and
are protected by federal copyright laws; copying of any kind, without permission, is
strictly prohibited. - There will be an additional charge of $20 per person (or pet) for groups or families over
5 persons. - All portraits receive minor retouching at no additional cost. Fees for extensive
retouching or enhancing of portraits range from $25 on up depending on complexity.
Please let me know exactly what you'd like at the time of booking. - All prices are subject to change.
